DWP - SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST was created by DandyBoy
I sent a formal SARN request to the DWP along with my appeal by recorded delivery - have printed off Royal Mail track & trace info showing the received it on 09/12/11 - their 40 days were up on Monday 16/01/12 .. i.e. 2 days ago.

They have acknowledged appeal in same envelope and reviewing their decision.

Do I now lodge a formal complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office for breaching statutory requirements ? And/or give them 7 days grace, before doing so ?

I confess I do not feel inclined to 'let them off the hook' given their attitude towards myself and others, especially as they have thus far also failed to place me in ESA assessment pending my appeal ! They are in breach !

Any thoughts appreciated. Many thanks, TV .

You might want to try contacting the DWP for an update first.

Thank you Gordon. My feeling is that if the boot was on the other foot and 'one of us' missed a deadline - they would be less than forgiving !
