Success at moving from WRAG to support was created by confused13
Hi all, just thought I would let you all know, with help from this site and a local disability group I asked for a reconsideration of my ESA claim. I was originally put in the WRAG without a medical ( they only had my forms and evidence for 4 days before reaching their original decission). I got a letter today and also a call from the local job centre confirming I had been successfull and had been put in the support group. Thanks to all, and it is worth all the effort. :)

Hi C13,

Well done for gaining entry to the SG, that is good news. :)

Thanks for letting us know, and for your positive comments. :)

That is good news :) Can I ask if they contacted your G.P or sent you for a medical before the reconsideration?

Thanks

As far as I'm aware my Dr was not contacted but he did send a letter of support. I didn't have to have a medical either. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for replying, I've put in an appeal to be put in the Support Group. I'm in
WRAG at the minute but am really afraid of rocking the boat. I don't have much new evidence only a hospital appointment and pointed out why I should be in the SG. Hope it's sorted soon :(

Thanks again
Jessica
