ESA Scenario

Hi

Can anyone help me out with an answer to this ESA scenario?

A couple, both claiming IR ESA, want to start living together in her privately rented flat. I know one of them will have to stop claiming ESA in these circumstances but my question is this...what does the person who stops claiming ESA claim instead? Neither party have any other income coming in. I don't think they can be expected to live on the £102 ESA for couples, or can they?!!

Hi S,

As IRESA, is a Means Tested benefit, it would be impossible to give advice with out having access to your personal details, which is obviously not possible.
