D l a appeal was created by lulubel71
I have just heard my appeal isn't going to be heard until late october
This year . I have been to see my gp about this and he says that the d l a have not even contacted him about my claim . He has advised me to make a new claim and insist that they contact him about my condition. I can't believe that they can make a decision about me without proper medical report

You can make a new claim anytime, but if your mobility/care needs haven't deteriorated, it's likely the decision could be the same.
Regretfully your GP cannot insist that the DWP contact him, it's up to the Decision Maker dealing with your claim to decide.
However, there's nothing to stop your GP from writing a letter to the DWP.
If he's willing to do so, he should clearly state in his letter information about the level of care and/mobility needs you have.
