Missed Phonecall from Jobcentre Plus ? was created by emma72
Good Afternoon All,
I have just had a missed call from Jobcentre Plus.
I did ask them to put all correspondence in writing, as i'm very nervous on the telephone.
And my med's affect my thinking and speech, they slow me down a great deal.
Should i call them back ? i'm worried ive missed an important call, im on CB ESA.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

If it were me either get your carer to talk or await your letter as requested, but someone better qualified online will tell you.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It is impossible to advise whether or not you should ring the DWP, as only you can decide whether or not to communicate by telephone?
If you asked them only to correspond with you in writing, they should have consented to your wishes and failure to comply could constitute a breach of the "reasonable adjustment" legislation, under the terms of the Equality Act 2010?
