Be aware though that the date on the ESA medical form with the prognosis date i.e 18 months time,(WRAG Group) may well be different if you go for appeal and then it gets looked at by a DM b4 the appeal & they place you in Support Group, this could then state 6 months & will time it from original award date for the 6 months. e.g Dec 13th 2011 for 6 months, takes you to 13th June 2012, therefore you could receive forms to fill out again in April 13th ( the usual 8 weeks b4 end date of award)

I'm not sure if your post is a general comment, as the O.P.'s husband has already been placed in the SG, so therefore no need to appeal.
OOps it was meant to be a general comment with a sentence b4 saying to get a copy of the med report,copy of descision,statement of reasons & any score sheet in making the descision & scrutinise it and see where any dates are mentioned.
