A Supersession is a re-assessment of your claim, usually as a result of a Change of Circumstances (e.g. a deteriorated or new condition). A Supersession can be requested by either the claimant and the DWP.

It is important to note that the burden of proof lies with the person requesting it.

If you don't qualify for Income Related ESA, then you can ask to be re-assessed for placement in the Support Group, but you will need to provide up to date evidence that show you meet one or more of the SG criteria.
