support group advice please- thank you!

Hi

I have had confirmation letter today but it does not say how long may award lasts for for the support group?

The only thing I can see at the bottom of the letter is
“these amounts on the page apply from 5th july to the 28 nov 2012” is this for admin use only? And not the length of the award..


Can I write to the benefits office to see what they have wrote in my medical report, I did not attend a face to face assessment so do I ask for an ESA85A medical report? Would they query this? Or is it ok to ask for it? Just out of interest to see what they but or don’t people bother?

And is it to ok to ask them how long is the support group award for? As there is no dates?


so today I called them and the woman on the phone did not know she said I dont know how long the award is for Hmmmmm

Yes, the November date seems to be something to do wit DWP admin, no-one seems to know any more than that. If you request a copy of the ESA85A, that will give you an idea of when you will next be assessed.

You need to be aware that the DWP do not have to abide by this, but it is usually pretty accurate. The forms will probably be sent out around 3 months early to give time for the decision to be made.

can i ask for the report anytime? or request it anytime or is there a timeframe?
and do people request it or don't they bother?

hi gordon i called them today to ask how long the award was but he didn't know he said he could see anything so i will write to them and ask, is it ok for them to do this
