PIP payment was created by wendy
 I am at the moment on indefinite payment from DLA, I suffer from Emphysema and Epilepsy, when things change to the PIP payment, will I be re-assessed, or are people automatically transferred?

People between the ages of 16-65 will have to fill in the forms and undergo the assessment for PIP. Those younger than 16 and older than 65 will remain on DLA (for the time being, at least).

Every claimant of a working age, 16-65, will be sent a letter asking if they wish to claim PIP. If they answer yes they will start the transfer process.

If they answer 'no' the DLA will be terminated anyway, there will be no option to remain on DLA.
