Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

There are no 'plans' at this stage to transfer current DLA claimants who are aged of 65 or over to the Personal Independent Payment (PIP), so you will remain on DLA as long as your circumstances remain the same. Of course, if your mobility/care needs either increase or decrease you are obliged to inform the DWP of any relevant change of circumstances.
One thing that is certain with this government however, is never say never where social security benefits are concerned, as they seem to change their minds on a whim!

As it stands at the moment you will not be transferred to PIP as you over 65, however, the government have said they will make a decision on transfering those left on DLA once they have seen how the migration of DLA claimants of working age has progressed.I have a life/indefinite award for higher rate mobility and lower rate carer allowance Now I am aged 69,will I have to fill out the new questionnaire for PIP when they have assest everybody of working age, or will they just carry on paying me till something happens to me?
