Feeling stressed out!

I have just received a copy of my ATOS medical report, feeling pretty low after reading it, it's full of inaccuracies. I have been awarded contributions based ESA and found out payments were limited to a year. I now see in their report they recommend a return to work within a few months. I don't agree with this, but had decided against appealing as I don't think I meet the descriptors for the support group and don't think I can cope with any more stress! But by not appealing am I accepting this prognosis and how soon can they put you through another WCA? (bearing in mind it took them 6 months to reach a decision after the WCA- but my IB changed to ESA a couple of weeks ago)

How often will I be reviewed?

The HCP's 'prognosis' of when you might be expeced to return to work is usually an indication of when you will be reassessed. However, this is only advisory and the DWP do not have to stick to it.

Thanks for that, does that timescale run from when the decision is made or the date of the last WCA?

It runs from when the decision was made. Don't forget that forms will be sent out aprox 4 months in advance so that the decision can be made in good time.

Oh no! That means they could send a new one out as soon as they made the decision!! It never ends does it? The information they sent on the medical report doesn't give any scores - is that normal? I have no idea what I scored for the decision, despite asking for that info.

You can usually work out your scores by matching the ESA85 with the descriptors.
