I can't make head nor tail of it, there are comments next to some descriptors, but no indication of degree or score that has been given- how is the score normally given is it a separate score sheet the DM fills out?

There should be a seperate 'statement of reasons' filled out by the Decision Maker but many of us have found it impossible to get hold of this.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I've asked for this but so far ESA85 is the only thing I've had. I noticed people on the forum saying they'd scored 9 6 9on descriptors or gone from a total of 0 gone to 15 on appeal, I just wondered how they found out. In the past for IB I was always given my score on my decision letter. The medical was a disaster the assessor was rude and aggressive (and this resulted in me putting in a complaint.) The medical report from it contradicts my GP's medical reports and my information, as well as being inaccurate. Its hard to see where I was awarded points from it.I wondered if the DM had actually used my GPs report and my information, as I must have scored at least 15 to pass the ESA.

Hi P50,

Here are links to the ESA descriptors, including the scoring system for WRAG, (LCW) :

www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2011/228/schedule/1/made?view=plain

&

Support Group descriptors, (LCWRA) :

www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2011/228/schedule/2/made?view=plain

You may be able to tie in some of the HCP's comments with the WRAG descriptors, and therefore gain some idea of your score, you must have scored at least 15 points cumulatively to have been placed in the WRAG.

Thanks for that bro58. I will take another look and see if I can guess where I scored, it'd just be useful to know where they did accept my description of how my illness affects me and where they didn't, before considering any challenge.
