ESA85A Evidence was taken from esa50 & Med3?

I have been on this subject before but i am still none the clearer on how ATOS Got a (MED3) THE LAST med i sent in was a med4 in 2004 which i was requested by the DWP to get this from my GP and send it completed along with the ib questionnaire, which i still have a copy of both, i have recently spoke to my GP and nobody from the DWP/ATOS as been in contact (AT ALL TO MY SURGERY?) i phoned the DWP up about this on a couple of occasions but they seemed very cagey and just said more or less they haven't no idea?? I have sent my appeal GL24 in which im appealing to be put in the SG instead of the WRAG, which i have had a written letter today at last after 5 phone calls and 3 letters!! saying they have recieved my appeal etc.

Surely if ATOS are going on an old MED4 this is another ground which to appeal against, as i have two further conditions since then and the conditions what my GP put down then have got a lot worse since 2004, (8YEARS AGO) if anybody else is in a simlar position would you please reply to my posting

Hi S41,

I have seen posts from other members who have reported that a MED3 was used in the WCA, as with you.

You could make a Subject Access Request to the DWP, asking them to produce it, see SAR can be downloaded from here :

I believe the MED4 "sick note" was withdrawn from use, and replaced by the MED3 "fit note" in April 2010.
