Confirmation

My letter came this morning stating I had been put into the support group. But the letter states in starts 31st Aug but getting reaccessed nov 12. Will I expect to get reaccessed every few months. Also the lady on the phone the other day said I wouldnt get any extra money however I will be nearly £12 a week better off at the end of August. Can anyone explain this rise ???

This November date comes up quite a lot ( a quick site search found lot of threads mentioning it), it seems to be something to do with DWP systems rather than an indication of when you wil be reassessed. Hopwever, you should expect to undergo preiodic reassessments for the duratin of our claim, these can vary from 3 months to 3 years.

Your money should not go down as you will get transitional protection, but it can go up if the Support Group pays more than youn were getting on IB.
