medical evidence was created by paul
Was moved over from IB to ESA Wrag . Had to put in appeal before i got the explanation letter . I found that all evidence and information had been totally disregarded and worryingly the letter stated that medical evidence was requested but had not been received. After talking to my GP it was found that he had only received it the day before the decision letter was typed. also by my calculations there were still several weeks left for them to wait for doctors reply with their comments !!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You can draw these matters to the attention of the Decision Maker carring out the Reconsideration stage of your appeal and to the Tribunal Panel, should the revision uphold the the original Decision. Was moved over from IB to ESA Wrag . I'm not sure what you mean by the 13 week period to sort a claim out? If you are referring to the time taken for a Reconsideration, then 13 weeks is an average, it could be quicker, it could be longer, the DWP are not required to carry out this part of the appeal process within a specific timescale. In principle the period starts from when the appeal is submitted, but in reality, it may be weeks before it reaches the top of the pile on a Decision Makers desk.

My best guess for "FME requested" is "further medical evidence requested".thank you gordon . could anybody tell me what FME requested means on my explanation letter and when does the 13 week period start to sort a claim out ?

I submitted my appeal in the middle of April and have recently been told that they are just starting on the April work in my area.
