I am afraid we cannot advise on War Pensions, our Moderator who has experience in this area is seriously ill at the moment and will not be on the forum in the near future.
You should get face advice, see
Where to get advice?
The British Legion may also be able to provide you with information.

Hi all just need a bit advice from the experts. I receive War Pension UMSUPP (as I previously mentioned on other threads), I also receive what was the old IVB additional pension of £28:65p per week. A few weeks ago I was transferred to the the ESA WRAG without a medical I appealed straight away. I also have my first WFI tomorrow (Thursday). What I would like to know is I was to say to the Job Centre that I want to give up the ESA, I don't really need it as I have a Army pension and a War Disability Pension also the wife has a good job. Would it effect my WP UMSUPP? War Pensions don't want to see me till 2017 1 year before my 65th b'day. I would appreciate your answers/views comments? I really can't be doing with all the hassle of the ESA rigmarole.

Hi,
As Gordon has said, we are not qualified to answer queries on War Pensions, except for Pete, a War Pensioner himself but currently in hospital.
However, click on this link www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?func=adv...name=1&childforums=1 which contains over 30 pages of threads that Pete has started or contributed to.
Hopefully, you may be able to find some information of use to you here.
Good luck.
Jim
