I have read the FAQ and am aware that the response time is somewhat of a "length of a piece of string". So I did a
Freedom of Information Request, asking the Department for Work and Pensions for current statistics on decision times after sending in the ESA50.
Guess what happened? The DWP didn't respond within the legally required timescales and there's no current sign of an answer - LOL.
I am migrating (attempting to) from Income Support to ESA. My ESA50 went in on July 23rd. I have since phoned a number of times to double check I'm not in the same circumstances that Jayne has been left in (on this forum), they definitely haven't made a decision - and Goodness knows how long I will have to wait!
oh well
