esa/migration was created by TerryS
My wife had to return her esa form by the 10th September, atos actually received it on the 5th.On the 10th she then had a phone call at 5pm asking her to attend an assessment on the 28th september,my wife requested a recorded interview and was told they would contact her again with a new date. This morning (14th)a letter arrived asking her to attend on the 1st October with no mention of it being recorded, she is unable to contact atos at the moment for clarification so should she just go ahead with the appointment. They seem to be on the ball in Cardiff.Thanks.

It is possible that a failure to attend a WCA can result in your file being returned to the DWP as a no-show, however, she would normally be given a second opportunity to attend.

Unfortunately the appointment letters are all standard, so there is no way to know from the letter, whether the appointment will be recorded or not.My wife had to return her esa form by the 10th September, atos actually received it on the 5th.On the 10th she then had a phone call at 5pm asking her to attend an assessment on the 28th september,my wife requested a recorded interview and was told they would contact her again with a new date. This morning (14th)a letter arrived asking her to attend on the 1st October with no mention of it being recorded, she is unable to contact atos at the moment for clarification so should she just go ahead with the appointment. They seem to be on the ball in Cardiff.Thanks.
