Have searched the forum, as I know this topic has come up within the last month, but cannot find it.
I received a letter re the above visit for next Friday.
Am currently in support group, do not receive any other benefits
so am wondering why I am being honoured with this visit. I have been asked to produce (amongst other things) bank statements. can this be right, (not that I am worried) but I thought SG esa was none means tested. Would be grateful for any comments.

I don't know where you were searching r,

I put "Compliance Officer" into the search facility above the forum and the following came up :

In addition to Bro58's comments, see above, it is not the group that determines the type of ESA that you receive but your previous NI Contribution history, although I suspect you are confusing this with the 12 month limit for ESA(CB) claimants in the WRAG.Hi

So to confirm, it is perfectly possible to receive Income Based ESA and be in the SUpport Group.

Hi r,
You should search from here : "Please Search before posting" which is just above the " Logout" box, and then from this underlined link :
"You can search the forum from this link"
Thanks Gordon for answering the other query, which I overlooked.
