That's terrific news, I'm sure it must be a weight of your mind.Hi Gordon and all
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner with an update. I have been pretty ill - basically the whole process from losing my job in December 2011 and putting in a claim for ESA up until the adjournment of the tribunal hearing made me very ill.
Anyway, about a week after the adjournment I received a letter from DWP informing I had been placed in the Support Group for 2 years and about a week after that the ESA arrears appeared in my bank account!
I would like to be able to say that is the end of that but as we all know PIP starts next year. Also the fight is not over for me. I am still chasing up complaints to Atos and DWP re Data Protection breaches and will not stop until the false, inaccurate etc info is removed from DWP files on me.
At least your remaining actions are thngs you have control over, so it should make the task less odious.
I'm sure the Decision was made on the evidence you submitted, but the imp in me does wonder if the threat of playing your assessment recording, hurried the dwp along

Well done you it is great news

What a awful journey through a maze of benefit changes and Atos whilst you are dealing with your own illness. Hopefully now you can take some you time, and also if you feel upto it from time to time keep your membership going on here as your experience and advice will be invaluable for others who are only just going throught the same process...
All the very best
