Had my medical assessment cancelled two hours before my appointment, has this happend to anyone else?

I've heard of people who have got part way through an assessment when the nurse carrying it out decides that it has be done by a doctor and cancelled the one taking place.

I would also guess that cancellation is a hazard of requesting a recording, since you might find at the last minute that the recording equipment has broken - or not arrived - or even that the HCP has declared that they are not willing to be recorded.

I shall risk the delay, though and try for a recording - if they are still available.
