As a retired Welfare Rights Lawyer and former DLA Tribunal Member with qualifications in social security law, plus representing a number of clients in the past for IIDB, any payments under the Industrial Injuries Legislation, including Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB) Reduced Earnings Allowance or Retirement Allowance ( which replaces REA on reaching retirement age) are not effected by payment of contribution based ESA, but could affect ESA Income based.
This a highly complex area of social security legislation so you need to contact your local office which deals with IIDB will be able to confirm this., or correct me if I'm wrong.
