I have just received a letter stating that I am being moved from IB into ESA WRAGS on 1st January 2013, But I am going to appeal this decision. My question is that the WRAGs is allocated for a period of 365 days, and wanted to know what happens after this period should things go wrong at appeal. Many Thanks for any information.

You remain in the WRAG and eligible for ESA, but are not entitled to payment, you will receive NI Credis which count towards a full State Pension and as long as you maintain your claim, if found to meet the criteria for the Support Group at any time in the future, your ESA(CB) payments will be re-instated.
If you are eligible for Income Related ESA, then you payments will continue.
