ESA Wrag linked to DLA Review?

Was transfered last year from longterm IB to ESA Wrag (no medical long story) was debating whether to appeal but CAb said no point they would only send another form to fill in, other medical, etc if won appeal and not worth the stress and no less money but will transfer to ESA Income based after 12 months. I am also too ill and stressed to go through the whole appeal process and just couldn't face it.
I explained all this to DWP and as i have a child under 5 they said i will not be forced to attend work programme, just a few wfi's.
Then within a few weeks got a form from DLA to check if i'm on right rate (had indefinite award 6 years ago) sent forms in in November and heard nothing since.
Does anyone know is it because i've been placed in wrag and not appealed that they are now questioning my DLA? How long do you normaly wait for a desision as the longer the waiting goes on the more i'm worrying they will stop my DLA.
Any advise would be helpful thanks.

It is not impossible, for example if you are receiving DLA HRM and did not score points on the ESA Mobility test, this might cause a review, although the ESA test is much stricter.
However, it is more likely that you have been picked up by the Right Payment Programme, see
The Right Payment Programme
Whatever the reason you have received it, you need to treat this form as a renewal and complete it in as much detail as possible. See our DLA Claim guides

Hi t123.
Yes, it is fine to start your own topic

We have heard of "fit for work" ESA decisions triggering a review of a claimant's DLA award, but haven't come across it much at all with a WRAG award.
The DWP do communicate interdepartmentally, and we do know that The DWP DM's use ESA Medical Reports as evidence in coming to a decision on DLA.
It could be possible, if there was something in your ESA Medical Report that was contradictory to your current award of DLA.
I am afraid that I have no way of giving a definitive answer on this.
It could just be coincidence, and due to you being picked out at random to be reviewed under :
The Right Payment Programme , as seen in our : DLA FAQ’s
I am afraid that I could not offer an answer as to how long it will be until you receive notice of a decision. My only suggestion would be to contact The DWP for an update.
