transfer to esa 7 years 6 months ago #98461

i have just received today the first letter about transfer to esa from ib, funny how the letter was dated 29/01/13 the day after the esa changes of 28/01/13! and others have received them in my area (west midlands) too this week all dated 29/01/13. what are dwp upto now?

question is if anyone knows which esa50 will i receive now and does anyone know how long i will have to wait in my area?

i want to fill in the online esa50 so which one shall i start to complete the old one or the new one or both, i wish to get ahead of the game if i can.

what utter confusion, any thoughts and thanks to all re guides etc.

As we reported in our news item at the beginning of the week, it is possible that some areas (not named), will continue to use the old ESA50 while stocks remain, so you will only know what version of the form you have received when it arrives.

I am afraid that the DWP do not provide statisitcs for the "claimants journey", so unless other members have recent experince of the West Midlands, we cannot help, however, the ESA50 should be issued some two weeks after the telephone call that follows the letter, so if you have not received it in this timescale you should contact the office that normally deals with your claim.
