Just received a letter from DWP this morning.Telling me i have been put in the WRAG related group of ESA.I have been on IB for 20+ years.I had a bad accident in my work, witch resulted in me becoming a below knee amputee.I have had all sorts of problems with a Neuroma in my stump.
Last March i was diagnosed with Hemochromatosis.Witch has left me Osteoarthritis,Chronic Fatigue,
and feeling Depressed. On top of the stump pain i have.It was the last thing i needed.I have to get a pint of blood taken every weekto date i have been drained of 43 pints.
Anyway back to the WRAG Grouping.I never even got sent for a much talked about ATOS medical.
IIs it worth asking the DWP that dealt with my claim,to reconsider thair decision,to place me in the WRAG Group?
I have got a copy of my hospital records with regards to my Hemochromatosis and Osteoarthritis.I am going to make an apointment with my GP early next week for a support letter.
I cant believe they ignored everything i put in my ES50 form.Well maybe i shouldint have been that suprised!
Any suggestions on how i should lay out my letter, about them reconsider thair decision.Hopeless at letter writing.Obviously i would be putting the medical and suffering parts in.
Any pointers is much appretiated.

Hi S,
We recommend that members submit an appeal in the first instance, as you will receive an automatic reconsideration of The WRAG award by a different DM. If the decision is not changed in your favour at this stage, your appeal will be sent forward to The Appeals Tribunal Service without you having to instigate it further.
Whereas, if you first request a reconsideration, and the decision is not changed you would then have to submit an appeal as a seperate action.
Have a look at one of my recent posts regarding this :

If you then have any further queries please repost here.

Just received a letter of support from my MP.
Quick question.
Since my GL24 appeal form has been sent away with hospital and GP evidence.
What do i do with the MP support letter.Send it to the DWP Recorded delivery, copy obviously.
If so.How do i make sure it gets to the right person, that already has my GL24 form.
Thankyou

The best that you can do is to send it to the same DWP office as you did your GL24 and mark it for the attention of the "Decision Maker, please see the following
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS
