also that medical advisors on tribunal hearing must be registered with the GMC
(mine qualified india and never registered UK )
having gone through a tribunal where i questioned the action of the health advisor, i found the written evidence recorded by the tribunal did not fully match what was said and neither of the other witneses on the panel could conclude that what was said was said as they no longer remember, in today day and age with technology so much available the need for dvd is no longer an issue micro sd cards if the the tech is encrpted or timestamped it would be impossible to adjust and would back up both ways, i do feel the choice to appeal left with the tribunal that failed is something out of the ark?

I am not sure of the reasons, which are no doubt historical, but the recording of a Tribunal is not normally allowed unless there are specific reasons why it should be done, for example; the claimant is deaf.

If specific points are raised during the proceeding then the claimant is entitled to ask that they are included in the written record made by the judge.

To be clear to anyone reading this post, the covert recording of a Tribunal is not allwoed, and anyone foun doing so, is likely to be found in Contempt of Court.
