IB to Support Group was created by judexx
Have just got the letter - incapacity benefit to Support Group without a medical.
A massive thank you to B&W - your guides to ESA helped so much with what to include on the ESA50.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

That is great news Jude, thanks for letting us know - and for your kind words about this site
You might like to request the paperwork associated with this decision so that you can see which criteria you fullfilled and also to give you a rough idea when to expect reassessment. This FAQ is approprate whether or not you had a face-to-face assessment
ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

ESA is an open-ended award that can be reassessed at any stage (from 3 months after the decision). As the length of the award does not form part of the decision, it is not included in the letter sent to the claimant.

Thanks Mrs Hurtyback, I'll do that.
Incidentally, I know that people have said that the notification letters are not always clear as to which group you are in, but mine did say clearly on the first page 'You have been placed in the Support group..' so maybe they have improved them.
