What a nice surprise awaited me this morning. DLA Higher rate and Lower carers ! Only one year though ? So I guess, next time it's PIP related ?
I guess I couldn't have done it without the help from you guy's and the reading material in here !
I still have my ESA appeal, will having higher rate DLA help me with my appeal ? After all, it kind of confirms the Doctors report that say I walked 40 mtrs slowly ?
Blue Badge next !!!
Thanks Guy's ... and gallls

Don't forget that the ESA mobility criteria are more stringent than those for DLA. In particular, DLA depends on you being unable, or almost unable, to walk whereas for ESA you must show that you would not be able to self-propel a wheelchair either.

Regarding Mrs Hurtyback, and propelling a wheelchair !
In the report from the DM, and from the Doctor from ATOS, it's stated I would be unable to use a wheelchair with neck pain !
So are you saying I should in theory win my appeal for ESA too ?
I've submitted extra info and the DM is looking at it again before going to Appeal !!

There is no guaranteing anything with DWP! However, it certainly sounds hopeful for your ESA.
