Hi ladynono,
I'm afraid that it is not possible to draw any conclusions from the fact that you have not heard anything yet. It can take many weeks for some people to be 'invited' for a face-to-face assessment, whereas others hear more quickly.
How long until they make a decision?

Our normal recommendation is to appeal, you lose nothing by doing so, as a Reconsideration will still be done, and doing so may save you weeks or months, if the DWP do not overturn the Decision and it is passsed to the Tribunal Service.
I would recommend your reading our ESA Appeal guide, it explains how you should complete the GL24 Appeal form and presenting evidence and/or a submission. See
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa
You should also have a look at the following
Is there any risk to challenging a decision?
How long do I have to appeal?
How to submit an appeal
ESA medical – what forms to ask for?
Qualifying for the Support Group
Disability Rights UK Factsheet - Appeals and reconsiderations
Preparing for a Tribunal
MOJ Video of ESA Appeals Process and Tribunal
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)
Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?
If you have further questions, please reply to this post.
Good luck
