i got ib to esa with out medical got a leeter in support grp payment fron 9 th april till 2 march 2021 yes 8 yrs what will i do is this correct

Hi aj,

If I am reading your post correctly, you should celebrate, as it seems that you have been migrated over from IB to ESA in The Support Group, without the need for a "Medical" !!!!

However, I am concerned.

Firstly, ESA SG award Decision Notice letters, do not usually state the length of the SG award.

Further, we are told that the longest award of ESA in The SG is for 3 years.

There is the possibility that the 2 March 2021 is a misprint.

If this is a breakdown of the money that you will be paid in The SG, it would not be the recommended length of your SG award before reassessment, (The prognosis) anyway.

I would advise that you ring the DWP on The telephone number on the letter, and query this.

They may have the prognosis of The SG award on-screen.

If you wanted written confirmation, you would have to make a written request for The ESA85A medical report, and The LT54, see :

Even though you have not had a face to face "medical" you would have still had a paper assessment. Therefore, there would be an ESA85A.

Was it an ESA72 that you have received ?

Even if it was, the 8 years needs querying.
