Just a quick question.

When I filled in my form in December, I had severe pain in my back and legs and found sitting and standing for more than about 30 minutes difficult, which I put on my form. I have since been diagnosed with Vit D deficiency and have been put on treatment, while it will take months for the pain to get better, which it will, I am finding that I can sit for longer and walk further before the pain is bad, so, I know I have to have a f2f, do I mention (I think I should) that on the sitting and standing things have changed and its not what it was at the time of filling the form in? Its confusing when I read about medical issues not being taken into account afterwards, but surely it is right to say that something has got better because they have found out why? It was found because I have a new doctor and he said this should have been checked instead of presuming it was my damaged disc that was causing the pain.

Hi Mags,

The Decision Maker has to make a judgement based on the situation as it as at the time. if your condition has improved since you sent in the ESA50 you should make that known at the f2f. Likewise, if your condition had worstened in the meantime you would have been able to let the HCP know when you were there.
