Do the DWP always keep to the recommended prognosis date for renewal if you are in the
support group, or do they ever leave you for a longer time?
How many months before the prognosis date would they send another ESA50?

Do they always keep to it, no! Do they usually keep to it, yes!
You should expect to receive a new ESA50 2-3 months in advance of the re-assessment date.

Do they always keep to it, no! Do they usually keep to it, yes!
You should expect to receive a new ESA50 2-3 months in advance of the re-assessment date.

Hi nada,
Unlike DLA, ESA is actually an open-ended award, it can be reassessed at any stage from 3 months following the decision. The 'prognosis' does give guidance as to when to expect reassessment and most people seem to find it pretty accurate. You should expect the next ESA50 to arrive several months before the renewal date
