appeal

Hi,
I have sent back my paperwork to the Appeals service. I now have more evidence and am sending it to them too. If I also send it to the DWP will they look at it to see if the decision can be changed or is it too late and only the Tribunal can decide now?
Also I put that I was available at short notice for appeal, does this always mean it will be quicker and if so how long is average ?

Hi j,

The TS will forward copy of any new evidence to The DWP.

However it is highly unlikely that The DWP will look again at your appeal, now.

It may be quicker, but no guarantee of this, it would obviously depend on how many appeals had been cancelled, etc, in your area.

Just to add, the Tribunal will only take into account any new evidence that is pertinent to the time of the adverse decision appealed.
