It is due back by next Wednesday, to be absoulutely certain that it gets there after so much stress, I have paid nearly Seven pounds for it to go via special delivery. Trouble is I am concerned now that it is a damn mail drop centre and not a "real" office. I have looked it up for and can find that it says "Atos Origin. Summit house, Nottingham Buisiness Park,NG86PX. It does say MSC after Atos origin Healthcare Nottingham, so I just cannot find what this alludes to. Does anybody have any clue as I am now worried sick about this. Because even if I track it, they will not be able to deliver it or will they if any kind of signiture is required?

Even if it is a mail drop, there will still should be somebody to sign for the envelope.
The key issue is your having proof of postage, which you have.

Thankyou for your swift reply, as usual! I meant to tag this onto the end of the other post but in my stress I forgot. So even if it is a mail drop centre, they employ somebody to do that, that is a relief then as the thought of them stopping my benefit or whatever is just so stressfull. It did not say on the form do not send via special delivery so hopefully I have not wasted Seven quid. And I know that you others frequently do send via special services. I am just so tired and worried about the whole thing. M.E patient of 20 years or so and just not very hopefull about this whole thing, even though my OT has sent a very detailed report specifically addressing descriptor's, but I feel I will be lucky to get into WRAG, despite severe limitations.

So. one more question if thats okay. Do you think we should "upset" the apple cart and bother the particular ATOS office (we have found thier number) or as form was rec at 9.30 this morning, I must content myself with the knowledge that it will get to them by Wednesday cut off date? Or should I hassle them, I dont want to talk to them if i can avoid it and I am just not well enough to cope with anybody being horrible to me at the moment, but on the other hand i dont want them to nil my claim and send the blasted IB55 file back to the BDC as once that happens, I have to appeal with no assessment rate in place. Sorry, I am so worried at the moment as this week has been so hard, we buried someone I loved very much and I have had another emergency weekend in hospital.
Thankyou and apologies for long email, do try not to post if I can help it.

Callisto wrote: Just an update on yesterdays query. I contacted Royal Mail and they confirmed that somebody had signed for it, we asked for the copy of a very basic electronic signiture, and printed beneath this was the words Printed Name ATOS. Unfortunately the person I spoke to at the Royal Mail did confuse me a little bit as when I asked about the Royal Mail room that opens for Atos, she went on to describe them. She said that it was a bulk signiture, which is not surprising, they are not sitting there waiting especially for my form to arrive! But I am still not sure if it was a RM post room or actually into the hands of an ATOS employee themselves and have heard of horrendous delays with staff telling claimants that they should allow 7 to 10 working days for the form to arrive, I know they say a few, but 7 to 10. Hence my special delivery.

Hi C,
You could contact the ATOS office in question if you wish.
However, you have proof that you have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the ESA50 was returned to ATOS by the deadline date. You also have proof that it was delivered to the ATOS address provided by the deadline date.
