percentage going into the support group? was created by pip
10% of ESA and IB/ ESA assessments go into the support group,
but a recent remark in parliament a few months ago said that would
increase to 20%, (if i'm right) can any BWers confirm this DWP/ government
intention to increase the number of assessments that can/ do go into SG.?

I have allowed your post even though it is really a discussion topic.
There is no "quota" for the number of claimants who can be placed in either the Support Group or the WRAG.
The latest DWP statistics show that 29% of claimants are being placed in the Support Group and 23% in the WRAG.

Gordon,
Two queries:
1) Do the statistics you quote refer to claimants transferred from an older benefit to ESA or to all claimants?
2) 2) Do the Support Group figures refer to direct entry to SG or include post-Appeal placements in the SG?
Thanks
