Asking for Sick Note !! was created by gwendraeth
Husband got letter last week from DWP, saying that your sick note is about to run out please supply another, He has appealed about being found fit to work (he made a miraculous over-night recovery after being too sick to work for 20 years ) and got a letter that his appeal is not being sent to tribunal as we have changed the decision in your favour, nothing else was stated, no group mention no nothing, I have 2wice rung about this to be told the 2 times that no decision has been made nothing coming up, As he is taking sick note in to local JCPlus tomorrow, is it worth making an appointment to try and talk to an advisor to see if we can get more sense, if he is put on WRAG he will need to appeal to be put into Support group and because they still haven't sent the decision will the 4 weeks to appeal still apply ? as his reconsideration letter was received 25March

I have seen some discussions on other forums that JC+ offices are now only dealing with claimants who have appointments, so it may be worth checking whether your local office will be able to see you in the first place.

That said, a Fit Note should be returned to the Benefit Delivery Centre (BDC), that dealt with his claim, this will not be the JC+ office that, nor will the JC+ office be able to discuss any matters in regard to his appeal, which again is only handled by a BDC.
