Doctors Surgery refusing to give me any evidence

As my tribunal has now been postponed I just would like to ask another question. In my bundle an ESA113 doctors form was never requested, so I asked my doctor if he would help me with additional evidence. He gave me a letter to state that the under the LMC my gp is unable to grant my request and can only deal with the DWP directly. Can they do this by law? Where can I go from here, as I think it is going to put my at a major disadvantage.

I am afraid that GPs are not required to provide a claimant with either letters or reports in connection with a claim for benefits.

You could try speaking to them and explain as it is now an appeal, the DWP will not be contacting them for any further information.

Alternatively, you can request your medical records from your practice, see
