Pip after age 64 was created by Pipp
I am trying to plan ahead in my financial affairs.
I have tried to find answer on site, but not been successful, so sorry if I am missing the obvious.
My query is: if I am successful in being awarded PIP when the migration takes place( in my case after Oct 2015) does PIP stop when I reach age 65?
Or, like DLA if awarded before 65 , will I still be eligible for PIP beyond 65?

Hi PC,
Like DLA, PIP will remain in payment after the age of 65 as long as the claimant continues to meet the criteria.

In addition to Mrs HB's advice. Those currently over 65 years of age on the date that PIP came into force, 8 April 2013 and in receipt of DLA on that date will continue to receive DLA, so long as they continue to meet the criteria for DLA.
