Always send copies, and keep originals.

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

Whether a letter from your G.P. would be supportive of any future assessment for PIP, would depend on whether the content of the letter was pertinent to the PIP qualifying criteria, and your limitations at that time.

For your future reference, the DWP have designed a new PIP GPFR that G.P.'s may be required to complete on behalf of their patients.
