I contacted them when I received my appointment letter and explained the situation and, almost immediately, received a call back confirming that I could have a telephone interview at the arranged appointment time.
The lady who has been appointed as my "back to work advisor" was really kind and was able to confirm that it is logged on her system that I have an Appeal in progress (which is more than has been confirmed to me!).
She also agreed that she needs no more contact with me for six months. In fact we ended up just having a chat about my different medical conditions, my current employer, the PHI scheme I have in operation that type of thing.
All in all I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I offered to put her in contact with my employers for confirmation of my status but was told that was not necessary.
I thought I would just let people know that there are some helpful / non-scary Centres out there.
Onwards and upwards to Appeal now LOL.
