DLA was created by aurorablues
I'm in the process of filling out my renewal for DLA which is due to come to an end towards the tail end of august.
I'm wondering if i was to get a set time award (my last was 5 years). What will happen in regards to PIP? i understand that indefinite awards will probably not get crossed over to PIP until October 2015. But what of people who are in the process of renewal who do not get an indefinate award.
Also. Do you have any advice as to what my partner should put in the "statement from someone whi knows me".
Cheers,
Aurorablues.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

If given a fixed DLA award you will be invited to apply for PIP when the next renewal comes round.
Your husband's statement should report the help he has to give you and/or the things that you have problems doing.
