As a direct result of all this stress my gp thinks I have Angina . I have an appointment next week to see the Heart Department at my locale Hospital.
I do have multiple illnesses but have noticed n your helpful guide that each one individually is not enough to stop me being called.
In a nut shell , Chronic Fatigue , Copd , Asthma , and Mental health issues were not enough . Why would Angina and Agoraphobia make any difference to them.
Sorry to sound so negative , but I have had this going on since February and find myself feeling so depressed and anxious

If your GP is prepared to support you then you could ask him to put his concerns in writing and send this to ATOS, I cannot state that it will make a difference, but the more information that you supply the more likely you are to avoid having to attend an assessment.
However, I have to warn you that this may not be to your advantage, many members who also avoided a face to face have been placed into the WRAG and have consequently had to appeal to be placed in the Support Group. Of course, not everybody meets the criteria for the Support Group, but if you do then your attending may make this more likely, that said there are no certainties in the ESA system.
