Big thank you - ME/CFS IB to support group ESA

I posted a previous message as it took nearly 2 years from filling out my ESA conversion form, to getting a home visit from a doctor. This was awkward as the doctor said she needed to check everything as the info was so out of date.
I have ME, and was very nervous about the outcome following the medical, as I really couldn't second guess whether I'd get nothing, Wrag or support. ( CFS/ME outcomes seem very varied from reading on here)
During the medical I followed lots of the advise read on this site, and went down the "repeatedly, safely, reliably" route, as many of the discriptors I can do a few times, but not repeatedly or every day.

Anyway I got a call today, and I thought it was bad news to tell me to get down the job centre! But much to my surprise the nice lady said I have been placed in the support group from June.

So I just wanted to say thanks to all the mods who have given me advice over the years, and show my appreciation for all the accurate information on this site.

I am so glad that your patience has now been rewarded! Thank you for letting us know and for your kind words about this site :)

The decision letter will not tell you when to expect reassessment as this does not form part of the decision. You can phone and ask DWP for the prognosis or ask for a copy of the ESA85 which should also tell you where you scored points.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
