Hi
You have probably been asked this question before but sorry i could not find it on the site so unfortunately i have to ask it again.
I have just been sent a letter saying i have to fill in the IB50 form and perhaps have to go for a medical assessment.
I have a lifetime award of DLA on both the mobility and the care component and am i then right in thinking i am exempt from having to fill in this form?
Please help me as this is causing me real grief and it's affecting my health because of it.
Paul

I think if you re-read the letter you will find that it is an ESA50 that is mentioned and that you have just begun the transfer from IB to ESA.
I am afraid that your being DLA does not exempt you from participating in this process and completing the form.
You should have a look at our ESA Claim guides
