ESA query was created by ROSIE75
Hi all, I was just wondering about something. My husband is going to fill in the ESA50 claim form for me online (I've not long been sent one) but how should he word it because he is filling it in. For instance should he put "My wife suffers with..." & "each day she..." etc.. or should he write it as if I had wrote it myself, ie: "I suffer with..." & "each day I..." etc..? Obviously I will be telling him what to write.
Also, just to clarify, when I send off any supporting letters with the ESA50 do I send the originals?
Many thanks for your help.

The "online" form is actually filled in on your computer, see
Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire
If he is completing the form using your words, then I suggest he writes it in the first person (e.g. I), if he is writing using his own words then he should write it in the third person (e.g. she).
You should never send original documents to the DWP, only copies; unless specifically asked to do so.
