It may still be possible to get Legal Aid for a First Tier Tribunal, but the budget for this area of benefits has been reduced by some 97%, there should be no problem with Legal Aid and the Upper Tier, but not many advisors have experience in this area.

thanks. I may need to source a solicitor who specialises on this.
My first appeal hearing made an error in law and now I have been again turned down by what I believe to be errors in the way the tribunal has been run.

Choose carefully, very few solicitors have first hand experience of benefit law and appeals, I don't think it is seen as being very profitable
