Further to my recent post, (papers returned, details of Tribunal in 5 months !!!) If I decide NOT to go ahead with the tribunal, will I still be eligable for the income-related component of ESA ? I'm not sure I have the energy or will to wait that long,and have already sought housing benefit from the local council. ( AND GOT IT )

Whether you continue with the appeal or not will not affect your eligibility for ESA(IR), this is dependant on your income, assets and savings and any hours that a partner works, see
