not medically trained

Hi all , a friend of mine has received an appointment for a F2F and on the letter is states that the person carrying it out will not be medically trained. Does this mean they will have no medical training at all or just that it will not be a Doctor. Many thanks

Hi Aen,

If it is an ATOS face to face assessment, ("Medical") then the ATOS HCP can be a nurse, midwife, physiotherapist, OT or Doctor.

They receive "training" from ATOS in Disability Analysis, and are then classed as ADA's, (Approved Disability Analysts)

If the face to face that you speak of is at The Job Centre, and is a Works Focused Interview, (WFI) then it will be a JCP Adviser, they are not medically qualified.

Hi Bro58, it is an atos F2F so seems they are not always Doctors but should be a nurse etc so have some medical knowledge ?l
