Sending in late evidence after esa50 was created by PAUL1968
Hi I returned my esa 50 around a month ago, havent heard anything yet.
Wondered if it would be worth sending in additional evidence now at this late stage.
I have my up to date prescription list, my mental health care plan, and my copy of a consultants letter to my doctor which is supportive.
If it is worth sending in now would they match it up to my esa50 as i bet their administration is bad
also i dont want to rock the boat so to speak.
many thanks
Paul

The first thing to say to you or anybody reading this, is that you are not going to rock the boat or annoy anybody by doing the best for your claim.

I would start by contacting ATOS

Phone: 0800 2888 777 or 0113 230 9175

Email: customer-relations @ atoshealthcare.com (remove the space around the @)

They will be able to tell you what stage your claim is at, and maybe save you some postage!

You should be able to send the additional information to the same address you send your ESA50, but if your are expecting to have a face to face assessment then you can also take it with you on the day and ask the assessor to add it your file.

Whatever is happening with ATOS, I would also send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim, marked for the attention of the Decision Maker.

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

HI thanks for your fast reply

about sending copies to 'the decision maker'
by office dealing with my claim do you mean the office of my income support which is belfast.
im being migrated.

I would have thought that atos send their stuff to a dedicated team of DMs somewhere, probably wrong though, it may well be belfast for me

thanks

There are several (probably more than several), teams around the country doing the transfers, but unless you have actually had a letter from them, there is no way to know in which office they are actually based, so the simplest thing is to send it the office that you usually deal with and they will send it through the internal mail to the right location.
